Paramount Ditches Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise popping a pimple at the 2000 oscarsViacom Inc.’s Paramount Pictures unit is ending its 14-year relationship with Tom Cruise‘s film production company (Cruise/Wagner Productions).

Sumner Redstone, Viacom chairman, said the offscreen behavior of the star was unacceptable to the company.

Pumpkins and Blue Bulls

Pampoen en Blou Bul

What do the two pictures on top have in common? No, the Blue Bulls are not a bunch of pumpkins…think again.

It is actually the titles of two songs (Pampoen and Blou Bul) made famous by Steve Hofmeyr.

Controversy aside, he’s quite the established singer, songwriter and actor and as much as some people may not like him, he does have a huge following.

But wait, that’s not all….it turns out that Steve Hofmyer blogs, a-la Steve Se Spoeg Blok.

    Erica Durance Is Hot

    I’m actually quite surprised that I never mentioned Erica Durance on this blog before. Devoted followers of the tv-show Smallville will probably agree that Erica is quite the hotty – well, close on the heels of Kirstin Kreuk of course.

    Anyhow, tonight’s show featured Erica Durance in a bikini – a real treat indeed. As you can probably tell from these…

    Not being someone to leave things half-done, a bit fo sleuthing around also presented some evidence to the fact that she’s appeared in her birthday suit too. Apparently House of the Dead is quite a crappy movie (I’m taking everyone else’s word for it) – but Erica provided some relief by taking a skinny dip some way through.
