We recently had an opportunity to go on a tour of the Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa. This stadium will be hosting the opening and closing matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Football tournament in June-July 2010. It’s an amazing venue.

Yup – was lucky enough to go on a tour myself. Stadium is breathtaking. Also loved all the little “easter eggs”. Ie the stripes on the outside point geographically to other stadiums (or was that other world cups?) I forget. Point is – very African. Very cool.
