Peri-Police Raid Cape Town

Today I received what appeared to be a fishy email from a Steve Peri in my inbox. However, instead of deleting it with all the other spam as I normally do, it just had something in the subject line that made me do a double-take. So after carefully scrutinising the file with every imaginable virus, spam and general nastiness checker, I decided not to be lily-livered and ventured down the “double-click to open” path.

I was presented with a minimalist email to say the least, with literally a couple of web links and two quotes – such as “In God we trust, all others are suspects.” On closer inspection of the urls, the email wasn’t as fishy as I thought, in fact there was just a tad of fowl play involved.

The first link pointed to the Peri-Police Raid files. A Nando’s microsite with a couple of hilarious candid camera-style video clips of people being served Warrants of Abreast.

The crack team of Nando’s Peri Police Force was created by Cape Town agency Cow Africa.

And as any good social media junkies would have it, you can also view the facebook profile of Big Steve Peri or his Youtube Channel and Myvideo.co.za channel.

Just make sure you eat responsibly – with your tongue sticking out of course…
