Thunderstorm over Fourways. It was more a lightning show than pouring rain, but spectacular as always.

Woah, awesome shot dude. We had the most hectic rain/hail/lightening storm in Melville yesterday arvie. Was hectic, our restaurant was flooded, not used to that much water in that short time span.

thanks dude – I took about 20 pictures and only 3 came out okay and I only posted 2. Lightning photography is all pure luck in my books. Of course highly rewarding when it does work out.

What restaurant you got in Melville? And here I was thinking that you’re based in Singapore.

On a completely side note, I’m quite excited to see that the “Related entries” link picked up my older photographs. Yay me.

Yup, home for good. Been travelling the world and working very hard on a cruise ship the last 4 years, been home 5 months now and running Soi, in Melville. Not mine unfortunately, working for the owner. I also got a great lightening shot in the Midlands near Notties, with the berg in the background. Pure luck. Have a good one a keep up the great blog…
