Blackouts across the country - yet again

“Motorists cursed, shops closed and mines stopped operating in the face of rolling blackouts that affected residents and businesses countrywide. And the blackouts are likely to continue for the next few days, reports IOL.”

For some reason our technical department in their infinite wisdom decided to actually test our backup power and disaster recovery plan earlier this week, which meant that we were online while the rest of JHB almost came to a standstill. I think they jinxed it.

So get out the last stock of your pre-1994 rations, candles and braai tools as Eskom plans to leave us in the dark again this weekend due to planned load shedding.

I think my ex-boyfriend still has some chutney somewhere and I know his dad still has some bully beef.

    Anyone for pot luck?

Yep, I suffered the same fate yesterday. It’s fucking annoying. I sat here doing jack shit for hours, before eventually giving up on the idea of work. I then headed over to the Pavilion and spent loads of money I don’t have. Damn those new Prada glasses.

Bahaha Katt – I think my grandfather’s condensed milk turned into caramel by now.

Kevin – haha did you see what else Prada has on offer, now that you’re in the shopping mood?

  4. Carls says:

  5. Aquila says:
