Social Networking

Following ready many posts on the subject and chatting with local tagging pioneers Chilibean and TheScott on Friday, I finally gave in and decided to give the del.icio.us tagging thing a go.

I’ve imported all the South African blogs (100 of them) listed on my blogroll to del.icio.us under the tag “sablogs” – they can be viewed under my del.icio.us favourites.

Some interesting observations on the sablogs tag – coda, a kickass design blog, has been listed over 260 times already. Similarly, Apparently Nothing has clocked over 110 tag listings.

Makes you realise that we should definitely take note of this social networking thing.

And so it grows – the more people talk about it and actually convert to doing it, the more it takes off.
