The much awaited Auto Africa motor show is finally here and I was lucky enough to crack a nod to the preview days. With my VIP pass and camera in tow, I set off to Nasrec on Friday, feeling a bit like a kid in a candy store.

I was looking forward to three vehicles in particular, the Volvo C30 Hatch, Volvo C70 Convertable and of course the Hummer H3 pictured below.

    BIAATCH!! How did u swing that VIP PASS?? I had to go on Sat (with the rest of the world)… finding parking was a nightmare… and so were trying to get behind the wheel of some of these beauties!!

    Also… could not really take photos… seeing as everyone else thought they were made of glass. BMF!

    something about being a valued Volvo customer…. Guess it’s got to do with all the free press they’re getting on this blog.

    Took tons more pictures (at high res of course), think those were the best ones though.

    Wow…great pictures! Love getting sneak peaks at the crazy new contraptions that are coming out. I’m in the business, so I love feeling a little “VIP” even if it through a blog and from across the globe… great job with the photos and the blog. :)

    The girl at the stand almost crapped herself when I asked where do I sign up to buy one. She almost fainted - think she’s making a bit of commission on any sales?

    nice pics. some beautiful cars at that show but most could have been found at a show room.

    indeed - there were only one or two preview cars that I found interesting - the rest were run of the mill showroom ones as you say.

    oh- a vip pass! my daddy darling and da bruvva went on sunday pn daddy darlings new kawasaki vulcan 900… needless to say i was very jealous not to have gone as well.
