  • An utterance of amazement
  • An utterance of sarcasm to point out that something is pointless
  • World of Warcraft - Blizzard Entertainment’s multiplayer online role-playing game
  • WOW is MOM spelled upsidedown
  • One of the few words spelt the same in reverse
  • Whip ‘em Out Wednesdays - featured on the “Opie & Anthony” radio show. Listeners would place “WOW” bumper stickers on their cars, and on Wednesdays, women fans were encouraged to flah their bare breasts at cars with the stickers on them.

      Looks expensive! How much would that cost over there?

      They start at around R1000 a pop for the usual 3 letters, 3 numbers GP thing….but then go up to around R5,700 and more for single to 3 digit alphanumeric plates.
