A8880 - A vanity plate from Lesotho

I’m just assuming that this is the Lesotho equivalent of a vanity plate (an A3 with an A8 plate – geddit?)

Anyhow, for my international visitors, Lesotho (pronounced [lisutu]), is a country within South Africa and roughly translates into “the land of the people who speak Sotho.”

I heard a rumour that there is a society of cannibals who celebrate their anthropophagic practices by buying vanity plates with the numbers: 10810 on them.

(Ok, I know that was corney). I’ll shut up now.

    hehe – here’s a thought…

1 (a thin dude) decided to eat 8 (a podgy fellow)
as 1 ate 8 he became fatter and fatter until one day he looked in the mirror and saw himself looking like O.

    the end…

(Okay, I won’t quit my day-job just yet)
