Last week, the petrol price was at its (maybe even the?) highest levels ever and filling up with 95 Unleaded also doesn’t help much on the price side. In fact, filling up the 60 litre tank cost me just over R410… Sad indeed.

I was delighted to see this competition over at ChumpStyle, Hump the Pump. The principle looks simple enough, SMS “chumpstyle” to 35117 and stand a chance to win R2,000 in petrol money and a funky T-shirt to boot. What’s R3 between friends? A small investment for a nice big reward if you ask me.

If you need any more convincing, it looks like Denise Richards and Mena Suvari are both supporting the ChumpStyle competition – humping the pump…so to speak.
