Read an article in Sunday Times this weekend regarding a stunned Mandoza at news reports that he had died in a car accident on Friday.

According to the article, Yfm reported that the musician had died in a accident near Bedfordview. The story made its way to a party for Oscar-winning movie Tsotsi as well as Mandoza’s wife, Mpho Mphuti.

Police apparently confirmed a mix-up following the death of jogger Joe Mendoza.

Don’t the media do proper research, get all the facts and check the various sources before they broadcast news any more? I think Yfm was very irresponsible in this regard.
