Was someone caught napping or didn’t they care?

IOL reported today that Castle has lost to Budweiser as 2010 World Cup beer supplier.

“South African soccer fans attending the 2010 World Cup will not be able to crack open a Castle at the stadium – instead they will have to make do with American beer, Budweiser.”

According to the article, SAB-Miller who produces Castle, did not respond to a number of requests for a meeting. Fifa waited for three months for SAB-Miller with no response, so they signed with Budweiser.
