Blue Bulls Centre Killed In Car Accident

According to IOL, “One of South Africa’s most prolific try-scorers, Blue Bulls centre Etienne Botha, was killed in a car accident in Centurion early on Wednesday.

Bulls vice-captain Botha, 26, was regarded as one of the unluckiest players in South Africa never to earn a Springbok call-up.

Last year he was named Currie Cup player of the tournament after scoring two tries for the Bulls in their 42-33 cup final triumph over Free State.”

His untimely death came as a great shock this morning and our prayers go out to his family during this time.
