Blog Linking

It seems that my previous post linking to some new (and not so new) SA blogs has sparked some interest and I think it’s great. We should really get to expand our blog network as much as possible, you never know who you’re going to meet around the next corner.

So far I’ve been introduced to a writer of short stories (and a belter to boot), the chronicles of a Mom and her journey into motherhood, sightseeing via satellite through ZA, another Rich in the blogosphere, a bling paintball gun that would make Pimp Doggin’ proud and that’s just to name a few.

   Wow, this is great news! It’s really good to see this amount of South African blogs here. Maybe somebody should build a directory on a wiki somewhere for future reference?

   It’s a pity I can’t subscribe to them all; I’m already subscribed to way too much feeds. But keep up the good work!

   Rob – I guess there are tons. Just look at the dotnet, Mweb and M&G communities to name a few.

   Charl, I agree – we need some kind of a directory. i think the SA web ring may just be a step in the right direction, but I think it needs to be ‘marketed’ more to gather bigger support under the SA bloggers. Does anyone know of one standard repository for all blogs?

   Colin: well done mate, I think that’s definitely one way to go – now just to spread the word…

   Thanks for the PR – I’ve been blogging for a while, and it is only recently that I realized how many other SA bloggers there were.

   But then again I am a bit of an asshole.
