I Are Tripping

I know this might be a slight contentious subject, but here’s a question for those of you with a Griffin iTrip attachment for the iPod.
Which radio frequency is the best to use? In Johannesburg it seems as through 106.0 FM is fairly usable – but depending on how far you are from SABC and other radio towers, it tends to pick up a bit of distortion/noise from other stations.
Clearly the default setting is not usable and most other channels seem to be problematic.
Any thoughts?

I also find having my aerial down helps reception alot

106 seems to be slightly problematic (static) in the NorthRiding, Melville and Florida areas – but will try 106.1 – hopefully it’ll give me a bit better reception.
Good tip Andre, it works great for the home stereo.
PS: What’s the best range that you guys have achieved?

I swear by 106.1 – Never lets me down, only once or twice near Standard Bank middle of town (JHB).
