Rich..! said it, but now I’ll say it again, go subscribe to Scott Sigler’s EarthCore.

“EarthCore is the world’s first podcast-only novel: you can’t find it in stores, you can’t download the full audio, and the only way to find out what happens is to subscribe to the podcast. This novel is a cross between episodic modern-action fare like “24″ and classic sci-fi movies like Predator and Starship Troopers.”

Unfortunately I was standing at the back of the line when they were handing out free iPods, but the audio files work like a charm on my P910i. Chapters 1-4 of EarthCore got me through a re-format and re-install of my notebook after an OS corruption the evening before. Not so funny however was the fact that it happened on April the 1st – a very cruel joke indeed.

Anyhow, it’s definitely worth a listen and hey, South Africa features, a lot.
