Dude it’s beeen crazy, yesterday we left Banbury at 7 and got to Sandton at 08h30. This morning it took me 45 mins to get to pbalirgowrie (I left at 06h30). The weird thing is that there is no obvious reason for this, the traffic has just been much worse this year…!

Absolutely ludicrous. Normally, if I leave home in NorthRiding at 6:30-ish I’d be at the office (Hyde Park) at around 07:00. For the last two days, I’ve left around 06:30 and arrived at 08:15 – ridiculous.

No apparent roadworks, bumber-bashings or the like to attribute the traffic load to. Do you think everyone got new cars for Christmas or took occupation of their new homes in our area?

Volvo indeed….what gave it away? Was it the old-ass dials or the high mileage? I still love my car, although I wouldn’t mind one of the new S40 T5..
