Hands-Free At Last

Got a new toy today from the guys over at Eezi-Talk in Cresta (opposite Vodashop) to compliment my recently upgraded P910 cellphone, a Bluetooth Hands-free.

I’ve watched many people wearing headsets & earpieces while driving in their cars or passing them in shopping malls, but frankly most look like Secret-Service Agents gone wrong.

Some of these bluetooth headsets are HUGE and frankly butt ugly, far too indiscreet for my liking.

Enter the Omiz OMB055. It’s lightweight, it’s small and it’s silver. What more do you need?

On the specs side, it sports roughly 7 hours of talk time and 7 days worth of standby time. Weighing in at only 9 grams and 60mm in length, it’s definitely one of the smallest I’ve seen around.

Appart from the more than adequate sound clarity, it’s suitable with bluetooth phones from Sony-Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Siemens, Motorola and many more.

It can even be used with PDAs and with a computer you can use the headset with messaging applications such as MSN, Netmeeting, ICQ and online chatting.

The best thing for me is naturally the qaulity of the device and the price. At under R500 (at the time of purchase), it’s definitely a bargain in my books.
