Cold Weather Prompts Reports Of Gunfire

According to IOL: “A cold spell gripping Ottawa is so intense that houses have started to produce loud cracking noises, prompting worried citizens to report burglaries and gunfire.”

Police responded to each alarm and quickly realised crime was not responsible. Apparently one possible reason for the loud noises was exploding nails because of the unseasonably low -40Â°C temperatures.

If you ask me, only a really desperate (and dumbass) burglar will attempt a robbery in -40Â°C temperatures. May you freeze your nuts off if you do.
