Wow, what a thunderstorm over Jo’burg again this weekend. This time, armed with a tripod, a bit of patience and a long exposure setting I managed to capture a few pictures of the lightning that struck around the Fourways/Northriding area. Go check out the full set.

   Not fair – I LOVE thunderstorms, and we just don’t get many here in the Cape. In fact, the thunderstorms are one of the major reasons I choose to visit my grandparents on their farm near Pretoria during summer! Trade you a couple storms for a few days of the South Easter?
